SUN Fact Sheets

SUN has developed a series of fact sheets which provide information about the most common invasive trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants found in Seattle's urban forests. Most of these plants are widely planted horticultural varieties found in backyards and gardens. These fact sheets are intended to educate the public about the impacts that common garden plants have on our natural areas and local parks. Along with the invasive plant fact sheets, SUN has suggested native tree, shrub, and herbaceous plant alternatives which are commonly available at local nurseries. Download the fact sheets in PDF format.
