A bird survey of Gold Creek Park was conducted by Brian Bell and Michael Hobbs on April 22, 2005.

Steller’s Jay
American Crow
Violet-green Swallow
Barn Swallow
Black-capped Chickadee
Chestnut-backed Chickadee
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Brown Creeper
Bewick’s Wren
Winter Wren
Golden-crowned Kinglet
American Robin
Varied Thrush
European Starling *
Black-throated Gray Warbler
Spotted Towhee
Song Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Brown-headed Cowbird
Purple Finch
House Finch
Pine Siskin
House Sparrow *
Birds spotted in or adjacent to the park at other times by residents – Barred Owl, Great Horned Owl, Pileated Woodpecker, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Cooper’s Hawk and Great Blue Heron
